 (who gets too much art from me lately  ) It is also an entry for her contest. I did some research on Ki-rin's (also known as the Qilin) [link] and learned a lot about its history and the many ways it is depicted. I also learned in Chinese culture the Kirin is considered a pet of the gods and second only to the dragon and phoenix. It also can walk on water. Tariana here is a very mischievous kirin so she has stolen one of Dragon's scales and one of Phoenix's feathers for her mane. Yay for mythology! Tariana (c) =scenceable Art (c) me |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
